Goldrush is a 375km multi-sport race, set in the back country of Central Otago following the old trails opened up by the pioneers in their search for gold. Conducted over 3 days with 11 stages, the event is fun, friendly & affordable with a great atmosphere.

Otago Central Rail Trail Duathlon 25-26 February 2012
Running & mountain biking the 150 km Rail Trail
The Rail Trail Duathlon is a popular sporting event hosted in Central Otago. Held annually on the last weekend in February, the duathlon race involves competitors running and mountain biking the entire length of the Rail Trail, completing eight stages over two days.
